{"id":5982,"date":"2014-05-29T16:38:55","date_gmt":"2014-05-29T20:38:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/news\/?p=5982"},"modified":"2014-05-29T16:42:25","modified_gmt":"2014-05-29T20:42:25","slug":"childrens-regional-hospital-holds-annual-health-fair-for-kids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/news\/2014\/05\/childrens-regional-hospital-holds-annual-health-fair-for-kids\/","title":{"rendered":"Children&#8217;s Regional Hospital Holds Annual Health Fair for Kids"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On May 22, 2014, more than 90 students and teachers from Veterans Elementary School in Camden visited a health fair run by volunteers from <a title=\"Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/departments-programs\/children-s-regional-hospital\">Children&#8217;s Regional Hospital at Cooper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-5984\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/news\/files\/2014\/05\/AsthmaCareHealthFair2014-828.jpg\" alt=\"AsthmaCareHealthFair2014 828\" width=\"562\" height=\"422\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The first and second graders learned about <a title=\"asthma\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/conditions\/asthma\">asthma<\/a>\u00a0and living health<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">y lifestyles by sampling a variety of games, activities and exercise. Following their visit to Cooper, the children made posters detailing what they learned at the fair, and the artists of the two top posters in each grade, as voted on by the volunteer committee, received free tickets to a Camden Riversharks game.
