This selection means that Cooper will serve as a model in performance improvement monitoring and reporting for other programs nationwide who are interested in building their cancer program.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Cooper has over 11 cancer care centers. Each of these centers emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, advanced therapeutic options, access to clinical trials, in-depth research and outstanding patient education and support. The Cooper Complimentary Medicine Program is a core component of The Cancer Institute. The program offers therapeutic sessions that can often reduce the pain and anxiety associated with cancer and it is open to anyone touched by cancer, including the patient, families and caregivers.<\/p>\n<p>This remarkable achievement speaks to the excellent leadership by Generosa Grana, M.D., Director of CCI, as well as the level of care and commitment by the entire Cooper Cancer Institute staff.
