With 64 beds, the nonprofit hospital is South Jersey\u2019s only pediatric hospital. Specialty services include intensive care for infants and children, pediatric emergency care, neonatal and pediatric transport and pediatric specialty clinics.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/departments-programs\/pediatric-intensive-care\">Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)<\/a>\u00a0and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/departments-programs\/obstetrics-and-gynecology\/having-your-baby-cooper\/cooper-nicu\">Neonatal Intensive Care Unit\u00a0(NICU)<\/a> provides comprehensive, family-oriented care for all infant and young patients to optimize health and well-being. The departments provide clinical intervention to the pediatric patient requiring intensive care or advanced pediatric (step down) care, while simultaneously supporting patients and families through the Intensive Care experience.
