\"\"Cooper Emergency Medical Services (EMS)<\/a> has been responding to 911 calls for medical assistance and injury in Camden, New Jersey, since 2016. The EMTs and Paramedics, through their own innate urge to help and fulfill the Cooper University Health Care mission statement<\/a>, began participating in the efforts of groups such as The Cooper Foundation<\/a> to help provide meals, coats, school backpacks, and other essential items for the most needy residents.<\/p>\n

Recently, the EMS service started collecting loose change from among the team in a five gallon water bottle in the EMS headquarters building on South 10th<\/sup> Street. This campaign entitled \u201cCoins for Camden\u201d resulted in their first donation on Monday to Hopeworks N Camden<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hopeworks N Camden provided free maps through its intern program to Cooper EMS, when they began service last year, so they had the most accurate street maps available with which to respond to emergencies.<\/p>\n

They hope to pay it forward with this donation to a deserving charity helping the youth of Camden.<\/p>\n
