DAISY Award winner Jan Vincent Adovas, RN.<\/p><\/div>\n

Cooper University Health Care recognized Jan Vincent Adovas, RN, with The DAISY Award<\/a> for providing exceptional nursing care. Jan works as a nurse on Cooper\u2019s Pavillion 7 Unit. He was nominated by the family of a recent patient and was cited for his professional care, compassion and advocacy on behalf of the patient.<\/p>\n

The DAISY Award, established by The DAISY Foundation, is an international program that celebrates the extraordinary care given by nurses every day. It is presented in collaboration with the American Organization of Nurse Executives.<\/p>\n

Each winner receives a DAISY Award recipient pin, a Healer\u2019s Touch hand-carved statue, an award certificate, and a gift certificate to Cinnabon\u00ae. In addition, the selected nurse\u2019s unit receives a banner to post for the quarter.<\/p>\n

Anyone\u2014patients, families, and professional colleagues\u2014may nominate a Cooper nurse for The DAISY Award. The DAISY nomination materials are located on nursing units and other public locations throughout the Cooper Camden campus and outpatient offices, as well as online through the Cooper website.
