Somer, MD<\/a>, head of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology, and genetic counselor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/jennifer-stone-ms\">Jennie Stone, MS, LCGC<\/a>, will discuss cancer and family history and how advances in genetic testing are shedding light on new genes involved in the development of cancer. Genetic information can help patients and family members understand their cancer risk and make informed decisions about screening, prevention, and treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Light refreshments will be served.
