Ingredients: (makes about 3 ½ cups)
- 2 cups canned chick peas or garbanzo beans
- 1 roasted red pepper, from a jar or can
- 3 cloves garlic
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 6 basil leaves
- pinch salt and pepper
Place all ingredients except the broth in a food processor/blender. Pulse ingredients and slowly add chicken broth until desired consistency, may need to add more broth.
