The Pharmacy cleanrooms have officially opened! As part of the Pharmacy expansion and redesign project, it is a state-of-the-art upgrade from our previous isolator-style hoods and IV room. These rooms provide enhanced cleanliness of the environment from common particulates and contaminants found in regular room air to make compounded sterile products (otherwise known as IVs) for our patients. They are designed to clean the air using HEPA filters along with monitoring and strict personnel garbing procedures.<\/p>\n
