The Corepoint upgrade is necessary to make the interfaces more maintainable and robust as well as to remain in the vendor\u2019s support window.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Bernoulli Device Integration server will be updated during this window to include the latest required patches.\u00a0This update is expected to be completed in the same window as the Corepoint downtime, but could extend slightly beyond the downtime depending on the overall timing of the various steps being taken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPACT:<\/strong> All interface traffic to and from Epic will be stopped during the upgrade, but will queue and transmit at the conclusion. Device integration (patient vitals) data will also be interrupted and <u>charting of vitals during the outage should be done manually<\/u>.
