\"Ripa<\/a>Let the staff at The Ripa Center and Cooper Radiology help you take charge of your health. The center offers access to diagnostic and preventive screenings that can keep you healthy or make sure you have a diagnosis to manage the steps to wellness. Services include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mammography in the New Sensory Suite<\/strong>
\nThe Sensory Suite engages the senses with aromatherapy and the sights and sounds of your favorite getaway. Patients may choose from a fragrant garden, cascading waterfall or relaxing beach to help alleviate any anxiety they may experience during the exam. The calming visuals, soothing music and aromatherapy create a spa-like atmosphere. Cooper is the only site in the tri-state area to offer the sensory system. Mammography at The Ripa Center is part of the Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.<\/p>\n

\u2022 DEXA Scan<\/strong>
\nThis scan is a bone-density test for women who may be at risk for osteoporosis. Additionally, postmenopausal women under 65 years who have risk factors for osteoporosis other than menopause (such as a previous history of fractures, low body weight, cigarette smoking, and\/or a family history of fractures) should also be tested.
\n(DEXA bone-density testing is also available for men and is offered through Cooper\u2019s Radiology Department at other locations.)<\/p>\n

\u2022 General Ultrasound<\/strong>
\nUltrasound is a type of imaging that uses high-frequency sound waves to look at organs and structures inside the body.<\/p>\n
