CME: Hypertension Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Continuing Medical Education (CME) presents Hypertension Update, a conference co-sponsored by Cooper University Health Care and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, February 12, 2020<\/strong><br \/>\n5 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.<br \/>\nThe Marian House<br \/>\n507 Kings Highway South<br \/>\nCherry Hill, NJ 08034<\/p>\n<p>Credits:\u00a03\u00a0AMA PRA Category 1 Credits&#x2122;<\/p>\n<p>The intended audience for this conference includes primary care physicians and specialists in nephrology and cardiology. Residents, fellows, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, and other physicians with an educational need or interest in this topic may also attend.<\/p>\n<p>Overall Learner Objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Describe current guidelines for blood pressure (BP).<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential benefits and limitations of the office and home BP measurement techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the beneficial impact BP control can have on the cardiovascular system.<\/li>\n<li>Understand renal nerve mechanisms which impact BP regulation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Conference Fee: $20<\/p>\n<p>Registration is required prior to the conference. Space is limited, so registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. No registrations by telephone will be accepted.
