This workshop will give you the information you need to function in the preceptor role. The program includes topics to help the preceptor understand issues encountered by the newly licensed nurse as well as the experienced nurse, and how a preceptor helps them adapt to their new role as a member of the Cooper nursing team. How to orient the experienced nurse and issues surrounding generational differences will also be explored.<\/p>\n
