Today is Employee Appreciation Day. On behalf of the executive leadership team, we want to thank each of you for your dedication, commitment, and professionalism.<\/p>\n

In 2019, Cooper broke patient volume records in ED visits, surgical cases, and overall patient visits at more than 1.7 million. More importantly, patient experience and employee engagement scores were higher than ever before as we move toward our goal of being the best place to be a patient, the best place to be an employee, and the best place to learn and practice medicine.<\/p>\n

We also made great strides in executing our strategic plan allowing us to invest in our facilities, new equipment, and our people. Our continued focus and success in execution will help us continue to thrive in an ever-changing health care environment. Once again, thank you for all you do.<\/p>\n

We also want to encourage you to promote and celebrate the great work of your colleagues. Through Cooper\u2019s Rewards and Recognitions website, you can recognize, thank, reward, and nominate your colleagues for monthly and quarterly awards. Please take advantage of this opportunity.<\/p>\n

Lastly, we look forward to another great year working with you to serve, to heal, and to educate our patients, students, and surrounding communities.<\/p>\n
