The department was previously managed by an outside service provider.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper\u2019s biomedical technicians provide medical equipment support to Cooper University Hospital and our ambulatory sites, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The team is also on call for both onsite and offsite emergency equipment support on weekends, holidays, and after regular operating hours.<\/p>\n<p>To contact the Biomedical Engineering Department:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Call 100-3438 (hospital campus) or 856.342.3438 (ambulatory sites)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>After-hours, weekends, and holidays: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please call the hospital operator and ask to be connected to a biomedical technician.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Beginning April 8, 2020, Cooper University Health Care\u2019s Biomedical Engineering Department will be managed in-house by Cooper\u2019s new Director, Health Care Technology Management, Edward Snyder.
