This year also coincides with an important nursing initiative at Cooper\u2014a Journey to Nursing Excellence. Cooper nurses from all areas and at all levels within the health system are working to transform their approach to patient care, to create an inclusive management and leadership model, and make Cooper a desirable place to be a nurse. This path to nursing excellence is sure to be exciting, challenging, and rewarding.<\/p>\n<p>Each week we will share a snapshot of this nursing journey in Weekly Rounds as we head into National Nurses Week, which officially begins every year on May 6.
