As part of Cooper\u2019s commitment to the safety of our patients and staff, we have resumed High Reliability Organization (HRO) training. The classes are available via in-person and virtual sessions.<\/p>\n

During in-person training, there will be fewer participants in the room. All attendees will be required to wear masks and adhere to physical distancing guidelines. Virtual training is also available to accommodate those who continue to work remotely. Virtual training will incorporate polling and Q&A sessions that will require participants to join via a computer or mobile device. Instructions will be provided 48 hours prior to the classes to ensure that users are able to participate accordingly.<\/p>\n

The Cooper Health System is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Cooper Health System takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of this CME activity.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Cooper Health System designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™<\/em><\/p>\n

per session. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.<\/em><\/p>\n

Successful completion of one hour of a continuing medical education (CME) course recognized by the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, or the American Podiatric Medical Association is equal to one hour of continuing education for New Jersey nursing license renewal (New Jersey Board of Nursing 13:37-5.3).<\/em><\/p>\n

The overall learner objective for this activity is to learn basic patient safety principles and standardized team and individual tools to aid in medical error education.<\/em><\/p>\n

The intended audience for this activity includes all employees at Cooper University Health Care.<\/em><\/p>\n

All faculty and planning committee members participating in CME activities sponsored by The Cooper Health System are expected to disclose to the audience any real or apparent conflict of interest related to the content of their presentation.
