As the editor of the Center for Humanism newsletter and a member of our executive committee, it is with both pride and sadness that I introduce our Summer\/Fall 2020 issue. In partnership with the Office of Diversity and Community Affairs, we have solicited a wide range of moving, frustrating, inspiring, enraging, and hopeful stories about racism and anti-racism from Cooper and CMSRU. This work was spurred by nationwide protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement as well as reflections from within our own community about how to combat racism. We hope that these stories spark change within you and within our community.<\/p>\n

This is the beginning of a conversation, not the end. Thank you to our authors for their thoughtfulness and vulnerability.<\/p>\n
