In celebration of Certified Nurses Day \u2013 March 19, 2021<\/strong> \u2013 Cooper University Health Care honors the commitment, expertise, and achievements of our certified nurses.<\/p>\n

Cooper\u2019s certified nurses are clinical experts dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to more than 1.6 million patients each year.<\/p>\n

To become certified, nurses undergo a formal process through nationally recognized credentialing centers, including the American Nurses Credentialing Center, to validate their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a defined role and clinical area of practice. They must achieve certification credentials through specialized education, experience in a specialty area, and completion of a rigorous qualifying exam.<\/p>\n

Nursing certification requires life-long learning and skill development to maintain. As part of their commitment to continued competency, certified nurses maintain their knowledge through specialized continuing education throughout their careers.<\/p>\n
