Annual tuberculin screening tests (also known as TST and PPD) and respirator FIT testing are currently taking place throughout Cooper.<\/p>\n

This year, the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend annual tuberculin screening tests only for certain employees based on their occupational risk. Infection Prevention has identified areas with high risk that will require annual tuberculin screening (TST\/PPD). Cooper employees who do not<\/u> need a tuberculin screening test will still have to complete an in-person, written risk assessment to be compliant<\/strong>. When you arrive at the testing site, an Employee Health nurse will determine if you need a tuberculin screening test or a risk assessment.<\/p>\n
