The free, Cooper employee flu vaccination program began in late September and hundreds of you have already taken advantage of it. If you haven\u2019t gotten your flu shot yet, there are still a few opportunities for you to obtain your vaccination both within the hospital as well as for outpatient offices throughout the health system. We look forward to your full compliance as we work together to protect our staff and our patients from the transmission of flu.<\/p>\n

Highlights of the policy for vaccination are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 All Cooper personnel are required to have an annual influenza vaccination.
\n\u2022 When vaccination is not possible, wearing a surgical mask while in clinical areas is required in order to prevent spread of the virus.
\n\u2022 The full policy can be accessed on the Cooper Portal<\/a>\u00a0with the schedule of vaccination dates.
\n\u2022 All employees must adhere to the policy by December 1, 2014,<\/strong>\u00a0unless Infection Control identifies an earlier date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
