Employees throughout Cooper are encouraged to wear blue this Friday to show their support and raise awareness about colon cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Regular colorectal cancer screening exams can find cancer at its earliest stage, when it\u2019s most treatable. New guidelines now recommend that men and women at average risk for colorectal cancer should get a screening colonoscopy beginning at <strong>age 45.<\/strong> People with an increased risk, such as those with a family history of colon cancer, should consider screening sooner. You can learn more about colorectal cancer risk factors and screening exams <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/services\/colorectal-cancer\"><strong>here. <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We encourage everyone to share photos of yourself, your coworkers, or your entire unit or department proudly wearing blue.
