On Friday, March 19, 2022, Cooper University Health Care recognized Certified Nurses Day and honored the commitment, expertise, and achievements of our certified nurses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cooper\u2019s certified nurses are clinical experts in their specialty field dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to more than 1.6 million patients each year. To become certified, nurses undergo a formal application and testing process through nationally recognized credentialing centers, including the American Nurses Credentialing Center, to validate their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a defined role and specialty. They must achieve certification credentials through specialized education, experience in a specialty area, and completion of a rigorous qualifying exam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maintaining a nursing certification requires life-long learning and ongoing skill development. As part of their commitment to continued competency, certified nurses maintain their knowledge through specialized continuing education throughout their careers.<\/span><\/p>\n
