Established by Mental Health America in 1949, Mental Health Awareness Month raises awareness about the importance of mental health in the lives of all Americans.<\/p>\n

According to Mental Health America, \u201cMental health refers to our emotional and social well-being and impacts how we think, feel, and behave. It plays a role in connecting with others, making decisions, handling stress, and many other aspects of daily life. Everyone has mental health, and it deserves your attention just as much as your physical health does.\u201d<\/p>\n

At Cooper, we understand that managing stress during difficult times can be challenging, and that living with too much stress can jeopardize your mental and physical health. We encourage all Cooper team members to focus on your mental health, this month and throughout the year. Carebridge Corporation, our employee assistance program, is a helpful resource for learning healthy ways to cope with stress and reduce its harmful effects. They offer free-of-charge, online support groups to help you handle stress, cope with grief and loss, and build resiliency. Please see below for virtual support groups scheduled for this month.<\/p>\n
