On July 6, 2022, 96 additional carriers were added to Cooper\u2019s pneumatic tube system, which helps our clinical teams move medications, specimens, and other health care-related materials quickly and efficiently from department to department.\u00a0These additional carriers increased the total number of carriers in our system by more than 70%.<\/p>\n

In addition, standardized signage now appears at each pneumatic tube station. Please click here<\/a> for additional background and important tips to support the optimal performance of the system. Using these tips will help reduce unnecessary phone calls and delays in sending or receiving medication or specimens while increasing team member satisfaction and the quality of care provided to our patients.<\/p>\n
