Cooper\u2019s August Employee of the Month is Jillian Hagner, Clinical Operations Coordinator at Cooper\u2019s Digestive Health Institute (DHI). Jillian joined the Cooper team in 2011 after graduating from Rutgers University, and went on to receive a master\u2019s degree from Rutgers University in health care management. Jillian loves interacting with patients. She enjoys her position at Cooper, as well as the great team she works with at DHI, and looks forward to all the growth and development that the department has in its future.<\/p>\n
In her free time, Jillian enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her two nephews.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is an honor and a privilege to nominate Jillian L. Hagner for Employee of the Month. Jillian not only makes extraordinary contributions daily in her role as Clinical Operations Coordinator at Cooper Digestive Health, but Jillian also willingly shares her gifts, talents, keen eye, and expertise with others. Jillian has worked at Digestive Health for 11 years. She has progressed her way up from Patient Service Representative, Surgical Scheduler, and is now Clinical Operations Coordinator. If I were to describe Jillian with one word, it would be Excellence. She holds herself to the very highest standards in her profession. Jillian is the glue that cements Digestive Health in the service excellence of health care. This pillar of strength and professionalism provides leadership to all staff members, and her integrity trickles down to all employees. Jillian is often personally mentioned in patient thank you notes for her management of our waiting areas and patient\/family interactions, which definitely helps enhance our high patient satisfaction scores. Her consistent practice of AIDET shines. Again, this quality is mirrored by the staff, and resonates to all areas of our unit. Jillian promotes family-centered care in keeping the families in the waiting room updated and supported. Jillian maintains bulletin boards with interesting educational\/seasonal topics. In addition to her many roles, Jillian maintains a commitment to patient quality care by contributing her computer skills and health care savvy by completing monthly quality and safety dashboards. This year,\u00a0her talents in computer programing allowed the Digestive Health Institute to improve and make goals for First Case Procedure Starts in all three units. In addition, she was appointed as Kronos Super User. Jillian takes on numerous responsibilities in our unit, including coordination of the staffing needs, and troubleshooting and problem-solving.\u201d<\/p>\n
