Weinstock, MD, FACC, Director of the Cooper Heart Institute, Head of the Division of Cardiovascular Disease; and Nancy Street, MS, MBA, PMP, LSSBB, Director of the Center for Population Health.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To register for this program, call Nancy Cornett at 856.361.1783 or email at <em>cornett-nancy@cooperhealth.edu<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Cooper Health System is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Cooper Health System takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of this CME activity.<\/p>\n<p>The Cooper Health System designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA category 1 Credit\u2122 per session. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.<\/p>\n<p>Successful completion of one hour of a continuing medical education (CME) course recognized by the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, or the American Podiatric Medical Association is equal to one hour of continuing education for New Jersey nursing license renewal (New Jersey Board of Nursing 13:37-5.3).<\/p>\n<p>All faculty participating in continuing medical education activities sponsored by The Cooper Health System are expected to disclose to the audience any real or apparent conflict of interest related to the content of their presentation. Full Disclosure Statements will remain on file in the Department of CME.<\/p>\n<p>The learner objective for this series is to provide physicians with actual process and performance improvement activities utilizing standard methodologies. The goal is to ensure that providers have an opportunity to understand various operational and clinical challenges within the organization and the interdisciplinary approach to continuous improvement. Projects will be presented by clinicians and administrators utilizing DMAIC methodology (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control).<\/p>\n<p>The intended audience for this series includes primary care physicians and all specialists.
