{"id":17652,"date":"2023-04-11T14:41:15","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T18:41:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/?p=17652"},"modified":"2023-04-11T14:41:15","modified_gmt":"2023-04-11T18:41:15","slug":"updates-to-covid-19-masking-and-screening-policies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/2023\/04\/updates-to-covid-19-masking-and-screening-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Updates to COVID-19 Masking and Screening Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In response to decreasing transmission rates of COVID-19 and guidance changes from the CDC and the New Jersey Department of Health, we are pleased to announce changes to our masking and symptom screening policies starting <strong>Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 7 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These changes are in line with other regional academic health systems in New Jersey, including RWJBarnabas Health and Hackensack Meridian Health. The new policies are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We will <strong>no longer have symptom screening for patients and visitors<\/strong> at the entry points to any Cooper facilities.
