Medical Laboratory Professionals Week originated in 1975 as National Medical Laboratory Week under the auspices of the American Society for Medical Technology, now called the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.<\/p>\n
The theme for Lab Week 2023 is \u201cThe Future Is Lab<\/strong>.\u201d This year, we celebrate laboratory professionals who protect our future by skillfully adapting to meet today\u2019s evolving patient care and public health challenges with resilience, innovation, and expertise.<\/p>\n Cooper\u2019s Department of Pathology and Laboratory Services has demonstrated its ability to adapt to change through its rapid response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
