This special month celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Cooper Court Cafeteria will feature a special menu every Wednesday this month. Click <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/files\/2023\/09\/Cafe-Menu-9.20.2023-002.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[18890]\">here<\/a> for this week\u2019s menu.<\/p>\n<p>We will feature educational facts and biographies of Hispanic\/Latino icons on <a href=\"https:\/\/pulse-plus.cooperhealth.edu\/member\/\">Pulse+<\/a>, and you can also test your knowledge by answering our Pulse+ quiz questions. Those who answer the questions correctly will be entered into a drawing for a prize.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about National Hispanic Heritage Month, click <a href=\"https:\/\/hispanicheritagemonth.gov\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s National Hispanic Heritage Month activities are brought to you by Latinos Unidos, Cooper\u2019s newest team resource group (TRG). Latinos Unidos is made up of over 25 Hispanic\/Latino Cooper team members whose goal is to develop a diverse network and promote the cultural diversity and professional development of its members, thereby creating a supportive environment for the Hispanic\/Latino community and contributing to the success of Cooper\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n<p>TRGs are employer-recognized workplace groups voluntarily led by team members. These groups allow team members with commonalities to meet, support each other, and produce a particular outcome that can help improve recruitment, retention, and job satisfaction.
