{"id":19344,"date":"2023-10-31T17:01:30","date_gmt":"2023-10-31T21:01:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/?p=19344"},"modified":"2023-10-31T17:01:30","modified_gmt":"2023-10-31T21:01:30","slug":"cooper-center-for-healing-participates-in-program-to-help-incarcerated-people-with-substance-use-disorders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/2023\/10\/cooper-center-for-healing-participates-in-program-to-help-incarcerated-people-with-substance-use-disorders\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooper Center for Healing Participates in Program to Help Incarcerated People With Substance Use Disorders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhealth.org\/doctors\/rachel-haroz-md\">Rachel Haroz, MD, FAACT<\/a>, head of Cooper\u2019s Center for Healing, and members of the Center\u2019s team participated in a press event on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, with officials from Camden County, the Camden County Correctional Facility (CCCF), and the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers, to announce the results of an innovative program to help treat incarcerated people with substance use disorders.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper provided guidance, medical expertise, and support to Camden County and the CCCF to establish their Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) Program.
