And then there are Cooper nurses.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Meet Samantha Malsbury, RN!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: What unit do you work on and how long have you been with Cooper?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m a hospital pool nurse and I\u2019ve worked at Cooper for five years!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Why did you become a nurse?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My mom has worked at a long-term care facility for more than 30 years, and my sister is an occupational therapist. I knew I also wanted to work in health care. Nurses have the opportunity to get to know their patients while caring for them and that is one of my favorite things.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: What do you love the most about being a nurse?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I love going home knowing I made a difference in someone\u2019s day. I also love knowing I took care of someone\u2019s loved one to the best of my ability because I know how stressful it can be to have a loved one in the hospital.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: What do you need to get through your 12-hour day?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Starbucks!!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I like working out and taking my pup, Benji, for long walks.
