Meet Brittany Schumacher, BSN, RN.<\/p>\n

Q: What unit do you work on and for how long? <\/strong><\/p>\n

I work in the critical care unit and I\u2019ve been at Cooper for five years!<\/p>\n

Q: Why did you become a nurse?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Growing up, I spent a lot of time in hospitals due to my mom being sick. Watching the nurses take such good care of her steered me toward making nursing my career.<\/p>\n

Q: What do you love most about being a Cooper nurse?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When a patient voices appreciation toward even the littlest thing you do, it reminds me why I started this job in the first place.<\/p>\n

Q: What do you need to get through your 12-hour shift?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I definitely need a big coffee to get my shift started!<\/p>\n

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time? <\/strong><\/p>\n

I love being with my friends and family and spending my time outdoors!<\/p>\n
