However,\u00a0access to resources can be unequal, particularly for\u00a0people of color\u00a0seeking mental health care.<\/p>\n<p>Please join the Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Department as they explore the current state of race and racism in the field of behavioral health on\u00a0<strong>Friday, March 8, 2024,\u00a0from 10 a.m. to noon<\/strong>\u00a0at the Conference Center, Room CC121 in the main hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees will\u00a0learn new tools to discuss race and racism with patients while\u00a0respecting their diverse backgrounds, as well as how to apply these tools\u00a0to help clients from marginalized communities\u00a0cope with racial stress and trauma.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Attendees are eligible for CME credits for this talk\u200b*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a <strong>hybrid event<\/strong>\u200b with the option to attend in person or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
