Through preparation, education, distraction, play, and other strategies, they provide crucial support to enhance coping mechanisms and create emotionally safe environments.<\/p>\n<p>At Cooper, our Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy team uses their understanding of child and adolescent development to assess each child\u2019s needs, resulting in more positive hospital experiences.
