Please see below for key details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why is Cooper doing this now?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Epic is transitioning to a more modern, web-based delivery system via Hyperdrive, which will allow for continued development of new features and improved functionality. Because Epic will no longer provide updates or support for the Classic client as a result of this transition, Cooper must make this upgrade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where are the pilot locations?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Inpatient<\/strong> \u2013 Pavilion 5<\/li>\n<li><strong>Health Information Management (HIM) Department<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Revenue Integrity <\/strong>\u2013 CCBO, Suite W-203<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ambulatory:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Diagnostic Radiology<\/strong> \u2013 Sheridan Pavilion, Three Cooper Plaza, Suite 100<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cooper Internal Medicine at Gloucester City<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cooper Family and Community Medicine at the Kroc Center<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>CCA at Mount Laurel \u2013 Internal Medicine and Endocrinology<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What does it mean if my location is part of the pilot?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the morning of April 3, Hyperdrive icons were pushed to the desktop of all computers in the areas listed above.<\/p>\n<p>Once these icons appear on your computer, you can begin using them immediately.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20652\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/files\/2024\/04\/epic-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"97\" height=\"117\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20653\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/files\/2024\/04\/epic-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"89\" height=\"117\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When the push is completed to all online computers, the existing \u201cEpic EMR\u201d icon will be removed from those computers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What if there are issues during the pilot?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please contact the Service Desk at 856.968.7166 to report the issue and specify that you are reporting a Hyperdrive issue.\u00a0If you cannot work around the issue in Hyperdrive and must return to the Classic client, instructions are included in the document <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/files\/2024\/03\/Cooper_Hyperdrive_Transition_April_2024.pdf\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, April 3, 3024, several pilot locations went live with Epic Hyperdrive, which will replace the existing Epic Classic client.
