Diabetes Self Management is the key to better living with diabetes. In this educational program, you will learn AADE7\u2122 self-care behaviors that will include taking medications properly, correct injection of insulin, tips on how to monitor blood glucose, healthy eating, being active, reducing risks, healthy coping and problem solving.<\/p>\n<p>Meet the diabetes educators in Camden and become part of a citywide approach to provide better diabetes care. As an interactive program, participants will practice the skills addressed in each workshop in a relaxed, safe and enjoyable environment.<\/p>\n<p>All participants will earn three CEUs while improving their skills working with diabetes patients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, June 16, 2015<\/strong> \u2013 dinner is included<br \/>\n5 p.m. to 8 p.m.<br \/>\nMD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper<br \/>\nTwo Cooper Plaza<br \/>\nCamden, NJ 08103<\/p>\n<p>There is no cost to attend this program, but preregistration is required.<\/p>\n<p>Course registration is free to all Cooper staff.
