This presentation, the first time using a new format that supports the Johns Hopkins Activity and Mobility Promotion program at Cooper, ensures that all new PCS team members are educated on safe patient mobility. This education is provided by members of the inpatient rehabilitation team.<\/p>\n<p>Exercise and movement are important for patient recovery and have been shown to decrease the risk of blood clots, bedsores, constipation, and infections, while also helping to improve a patient\u2019s appetite and mood.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to all the PCS team members who participated in the training and who are advocating for patient wellness.
