This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are deeply honored by this acknowledgment, which highlights Cooper\u2019s dedication to perinatal safety and our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care and quality for mothers and their newborns,\u201d stated Robin Perry, MD, MSEd, FACOG, Chief and Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. \u201cOur entire team is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality maternity care, united by a shared commitment to support and nurture every mother and baby with the utmost compassion and expertise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Three data sources were used for the evaluation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Nationwide online survey:<\/strong>\u00a0Health care professionals and hospital managers with knowledge about maternity processes, e.g., neonatal and perinatal doctors, nurses and midwives were asked to recommend leading maternity hospitals in the US.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Medical KPIs on hospitals<\/strong>\u00a0with a focus on indicators relevant to maternity care.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Results from patient surveys.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>High-quality maternity care, provided from pregnancy through birth and postpartum is key to the long-term health of newborns and women who give birth.
