During this week, we recognize the profound impact nursing professional development practitioners and clinical educators have on the growth and development of nurses throughout all stages of their career. Our clinical educators are supporters and mentors of frontline nurses and champion quality, evidence-based care, and patient safety every day.<\/p>\n<p>At Cooper, our clinical educators provide programs and coordinate recognitions such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Onboarding and orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Nurse residency transition-to-practice program.<\/li>\n<li>Competency assessment and management.<\/li>\n<li>Nursing professional development contact hours.<\/li>\n<li>Education on use of equipment, policies, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of student affiliations.<\/li>\n<li>Nursing Excellence, DAISY, and Sunshine Awards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please join us in celebrating our hard-working clinical educators for their dedication to our Cooper nursing team.
