\"\"Meet your fellow Cooper team member, James \u201cJim\u201d Doyle, MSM, BA. <\/strong>Currently, Jim is Director of Ambulatory Operations; however, his Cooper story first started seven years ago.\u00a0To hear Jim tell his story in his own words,<\/strong> click here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jim first joined Cooper as a per diem patient companion in February 2017. While working per diem for several months, he completed his undergraduate degree. Upon completion, Jim went on to become a critical care technician, where he spent the next two years working with \u201csome of the greatest professionals\u201d he had ever known. Jim says, \u201cMy role as a critical care tech truly provided me with a sound knowledge base and helped to better develop my skill set to be successful in future roles.\u201d<\/p>\n

In July 2019, Jim accepted a promotional opportunity to support critical care nursing services as Clinical Operations Coordinator for the Viner ICU, CCU, Cardiac Cath Lab, and the new (at the time) Neuro ICU. For two years, he collaborated closely with nursing leaders and worked alongside our teams, guaranteeing that every team member was equipped with the necessary tools and resources for their roles. His proactive approach was pivotal during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, as he played a crucial role in securing adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) for our staff, ensuring the safety and care of our critically ill patients.<\/p>\n

In June 2021, Jim accepted another promotion into a leadership role as Manager of Ambulatory Operations on the third floor of the Cooper Specialty Care in Cherry Hill. In this capacity, he efficiently filled all open positions and attained a T-2 Leader Index on his initial engagement survey, reflecting his effective leadership and the team\u2019s collective success.<\/p>\n

In June 2022, Jim earned his fourth promotion at Cooper, advancing to his current role of Director of Ambulatory Operations for the Adult Medical Specialty and Cardiology service lines. He now leads a dedicated team of nearly 150 professionals across 11 regional locations, overseeing the care of hundreds of thousands of patients annually. His leadership responsibilities expanded further in March 2023 with the integration of the Neuroscience service lines and the administrative management of Cooper Specialty Care in Cherry Hill.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy current role is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me where I feel empowered, challenged, and fulfilled each and every day,\u201d Jim says. \u201cI am so unbelievably fortunate to have the opportunity to work here at Cooper. Cooper has helped me learn and grow in so many ways. Through the tuition reimbursement program, I was able to finish my undergraduate program and complete my graduate degree as well. With my Master of Science in Management, I am now teaching adjunct at Rutgers University, where I hope to inspire and cultivate the next set of health care administration professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n
