Last week, Cooper experienced a brute force attack, which is a hacking method that uses trial and error to crack passwords, login credentials, and encryption keys, on Cooper\u2019s network gateway. Although the threat actors failed at multiple user ID and password attempts, these disruptions resulted in some Cooper team members being locked out of their accounts. Our IT department placed blocks on the gateways to stop the threat actors and mitigate the impact.<\/p>\n
