<\/p>\nFor several years, Fusion Church\u2014located in Egg Harbor Township and Newfield, New Jersey\u2014has been dedicated to supporting health care workers in their community. As part of the church\u2019s annual initiative, approximately 75 church members prepared and distributed 500 spring-themed baskets to hospitals across South Jersey.<\/p>\n
This year, Fusion Church volunteers Lorna Francis and Heather Knoll, the church\u2019s outreach director, generously delivered 120 of these baskets to Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional. The gesture was made in recognition of the hard work and unwavering commitment of the medical staff who serve the community. The delivery was coordinated in partnership with The Cooper Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Cooper University Health Care.<\/p>\n

“We are incredibly grateful to Fusion Church for bringing joy and recognition to our hospital staff,” said Lisa Morina, senior vice president and chief philanthropy officer of The Cooper Foundation. “These baskets are a thoughtful reminder of the community’s appreciation, and we are proud to help facilitate such meaningful acts of kindness that truly lift the spirits of our health care teams.”<\/p>\n

The spring baskets were filled with cheerful items intended to lift the spirits and bring smiles to hospital staff. The church\u2019s lead volunteer, Jeanann Louderback, was joined by local high school seniors Tram Nguyen and Alaina DeBaun to help distribute the baskets. Together, they ensured that every department and offsite office received the baskets, spreading the spirit of spring and gratitude to every health care worker.<\/p>\n
This annual tradition has become a meaningful way for Fusion Church to show its gratitude to the healthcare professionals who are on the frontlines of patient care. The church members also take this opportunity to share these moments of gratitude, sharing how their support really impacts the surrounding communities.
