We are pleased to announce an important improvement to University Radiology Group (URG) at Cooper\u2019s scheduling process at Cooper\u2019s Cherry Hill Campus. Previously, URG used a temporary scheduling process because they were not integrated with Epic. This required schedulers to work across two separate systems\u2014their system and Cooper\u2019s Epic system\u2014creating complications and longer wait times for patients, referrers, and others when scheduling radiology exams.<\/p>\n

On April 28, 2025, URG at Cooper Cherry Hill officially went live with Epic for scheduling workflows.<\/strong> With this change, the scheduling team now operates within a single system (Epic), enabling more efficient appointment scheduling to ensure timely access to care. Patients can now be offered the first available appointment across all Cooper radiology locations, further enhancing access and improving patient satisfaction.<\/p>\n

On May 5, 2025, URG at Cooper Cherry Hill transitioned to Epic clinical workflows,<\/strong> ensuring quicker availability of completed images. Images and reports are now directly integrated into the patient\u2019s Epic chart, eliminating manual interventions that previously delayed clinician access.<\/p>\n
