The Pamela Kauffman Nursing Education Fund was established by the Cooper Foundation in partnership with the Center for Trauma Services\u00a0to provide financial assistance to future nursing students who embody the outstanding qualities and pursuit of nursing excellence that Pam demonstrated throughout her career.<\/p>\n

Pam, who passed away suddenly in May 2022, was a dedicated Cooper team member for 32 years. She served the hospital first as an LPN on Keleman 7 and advanced her career at Cooper, eventually earning her master\u2019s degree in nursing and becoming board certified as a nurse practitioner in two specialties: family practice and adult-gerontological acute care. Pam referred to herself as a lifelong learner who loved school and caring for others. It was her firm belief to encourage others to pursue learning opportunities and education to become successful future leaders and educators.<\/p>\n
