Recently, the Cooper community gathered to celebrate the unveiling of a portrait honoring Jeffrey P. Carpenter, MD, former Chairman and Chief of the Department of Surgery at Cooper University Health Care and a founding leader of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.<\/p>\n

The portrait commemorates Dr. Carpenter\u2019s remarkable career as a surgeon, innovator, educator, entrepreneur, mentor, and friend. With more than two decades of clinical excellence, more than 10 medical patents, and a legacy of compassionate patient care, Dr. Carpenter has left an indelible mark on medicine and the many lives he\u2019s touched. This portrait, which hangs at Three Cooper Plaza in Suite 411, serves as a lasting tribute to a life devoted to service, leadership, and humanity.<\/p>\n
