{"id":3805,"date":"2016-09-06T15:25:22","date_gmt":"2016-09-06T15:25:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/?p=3805"},"modified":"2016-09-15T17:54:49","modified_gmt":"2016-09-15T17:54:49","slug":"join-cooper-heart-institutes-kick-off-for-the-american-heart-association-walk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/2016\/09\/join-cooper-heart-institutes-kick-off-for-the-american-heart-association-walk\/","title":{"rendered":"Join Cooper Heart Institute\u2019s Kick off for the American Heart Association Walk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On <strong>Wednesday, September 14, 2016<\/strong>, colleagues in the Cooper Heart Institute will be kicking off the events leading up to the American Heart Association (AHA) Walk scheduled on<strong> Saturday, October 22, 2016<\/strong>, at Cooper River Park.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a table in Cooper University Hospital\u2019s Roberts Pavilion where you can sign up to participate on the Cooper Team and be entered in a drawing for your donation to the AHA. You can also get your blood pressure checked, and get fun prizes!<\/p>\n<p>Tables will be outside of the Cooper Court cafeteria <strong>weekly through October 21, 2016<\/strong>, with information about the walk.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this year\u2019s event we will have a T-shirt logo design contest. The winning logo will be displayed on the Cooper Team shirts worn by the participants in the October event. Also, the winner of the T-shirt design contest will win a pizza party for their department.<\/p>\n<p>You can create your design electronically (preferred) and submit it in a pdf file to <a href=\"mailto:sorge-debra@cooperhealth.edu\">sorge-debra@cooperhealth.edu<\/a>\u00a0in the Marketing Department. Or, you can draw it in a document and take a picture of it and bring it to Kim Hummel in Nursing Administration.<\/p>\n<p>Try to keep your design somewhat simple as it will show up better on a T-shirt. All submissions must be received by Wednesday, September 21, 2016.<br \/>\nThe winning logo design will be decided by a vote from the Cooper Heart Institute staff.<\/p>\n<p>Come out on <strong>September 14, 2016<\/strong>, and help us kick off this great event for heart health.
