The ribbons will remain throughout September in honor of cancer survivors and to create awareness about the prevention and early detection of women&#8217;s cancers.<\/p>\n<p>The American Cancer Society estimates that more than 90,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with cervical, uterine, ovarian, and other gynecological cancers each year; and 28,080 women will die from these diseases. Early detection and treatment is important to improve outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more, employees are invited to MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper in both Camden and Voorhees for a two-part lecture on gynecologic cancers and prostate cancer.<\/p>\n<p>A pizza lunch will be provided. All employees are welcome but we ask that you register in advance to ensure that there is adequate seating and lunch for all participants.
