The topic of the first session, which will be held in the \u00a0Dean\u2019s Conference Room in the Education and Research Building on Tuesday, November 1, 2016<\/strong>, from 11 a.m.\u00a0until noon, is \u201cNeurodevelopment Effects of Psychotropic Medications: Timing is Everything.\u201d The neurodevelopmental effects of psychotropic medications have not been well studied. Yet, this information is highly relevant to clinical psychopharmacology in children and adolescents. Karin Borgmann-Winter, MD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, CHOP, University of Pennsylvania, will describe the basic landscape of neurodevelopment and consider the possible interactions between psychotropic medications and developmental time points.\u00a0CME credit will be provided for each session in the series.<\/p>\n
