Current and newly hired employees who are eligible for Cooper Health Plans must re-elect<\/u> a Medical Plan or Waive coverage through Employee Self-Service (ESS) during Open Enrollment in order to have coverage or drop coverage for 2017.\u00a0In addition, you must attest to being a Non-Tobacco or Tobacco user.<\/strong>\u00a0If you do not enroll or waive medical coverage, you will be defaulted in the Cooper Core Plan\u2013Employee Only coverage and will be charged the full rate for tobacco users, effective January 1, 2017.<\/p>\n

You can view the 2017 Open Enrollment Guide as well as the 2017 Benefits Highlights Booklet on Employee Self Service (ESS). Log onto ESS, click on the Open Enrollment link to view the 2017 materials.<\/p>\n

Remember to print your confirmation statement at the time you complete your elections via ESS. As last year, the confirmation statement will not be mailed to your home. <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n
