{"id":4274,"date":"2016-11-22T11:30:02","date_gmt":"2016-11-22T16:30:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/?p=4274"},"modified":"2016-11-22T11:30:02","modified_gmt":"2016-11-22T16:30:02","slug":"cmsru-offers-popular-summer-program-for-high-school-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cooperhealth.org\/weeklyrounds\/2016\/11\/cmsru-offers-popular-summer-program-for-high-school-students\/","title":{"rendered":"CMSRU Offers Popular Summer Program for High School Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MEDacademy<\/strong>, CMSRU\u2019s popular summer program for high school students interested in becoming physicians, will begin accepting applications later this month. <strong>But, early registration for \u201cFriends and Family\u201d of CMSRU began on Monday, November 14, 2016!<\/strong> This includes faculty, staff and students from CMSRU, Rowan University, and Cooper University Health Care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MEDacademy<\/strong> is a four-week summer medical education enrichment program for high school juniors and seniors who aspire to become physicians. It provides an opportunity for hands-on experiences and learning that will help refine their interest in health care.<\/p>\n<p>With room for only 32 students, it\u2019s important that motivated students apply ASAP for this very competitive program.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible candidates are highly driven, talented students in excellent academic standing (GPA 3.3 or above) and who demonstrate an interest in medicine.
